Discover the Transformative Power of eCO2 Laser Treatment
If you have trialled multiple products that claim to magically rid you of deep wrinkles, acne scarring, or facial scars, then an eCO2 laser resurfacing treatment may be the option for you.
The eCO2 laser is a new and innovative laser technology now used to treat a number of skin conditions. The eCO2 laser uses patented Controlled Chaos Technology which randomly delivers tiny targeted laser beams to vaporise skin cells. This in turn promotes collagen stimulation and produces new skin cells to enhance and improve skin texture.
What Is eCO2 Laser Treatment?
eCO2 laser treatment is a type of laser skin resurfacing that utilises the CO2 laser. This advanced procedure reduces skin imperfections by removing layers of skin tissue in a fractionated method. It harnesses patented Controlled Chaos technology to target specific areas of the skin, promoting collagen production and the growth of new skin cells.
What Conditions Can Be Treated With An eCO2 Laser?
Laser resurfacing using an eCO2 laser can treat a number of skin conditions that affect the face such as acne scars, deep wrinkles, and sun damage. However, this technology can also be used to promote collagen stimulation and the development of new skin cells in other parts of the body such as the upper arms, legs, and chest. Conditions that can be treated include:
- Acne scars
- Surgical scars
- Moles and raised birthmarks
- Deep acne scarring
- Skin texture improvements
- Skin tone enhancements
- Skin laxity
- Pigmented lesions
What Are The Benefits Of eCO2 Laser Treatment?
The eCO2 lasers have been in use since the 1960s. The long history of use has shown evidence of considerable benefits when used to improve skin texture. Some of the benefits of eCO2 laser resurfacing treatment are:
- Enhanced skin texture
- Improved skin tone
- Reduced appearance of acne scarring
- Stimulation of new skin cells

What To Expect From eCO2 Laser Treatment In Sydney
If you decide to have your eCO2 laser treatment in Sydney with us at Shire Aesthetics, this is what you can expect:
Consultation
During your first consultation, our expert will assess your facial features and medical history, ensuring the procedure’s safety. We’ll then create your tailored treatment plan and schedule the procedure at a convenient time for you, aligning with our availability.
Procedure
Once you arrive at our clinic, our friendly front of house team will direct you to the private consultation room where your procedure will take place. Your doctor will then clean your skin and apply a topical anaesthetic.
You will be given eye protection during your treatment and your doctor will commence scanning the laser across the designated sites. Depending on the scope of your procedure, the total time taken should be between 40 and 90 minutes.
Recovery
Total recovery ranges between 1 to 2 weeks depending on your individual characteristics. After completing your treatment, you may feel slight discomfort in the form of swelling and redness which may last for up to 3 days.
Eventually, the redness will begin to fade and your skin will start to feel tight. You can use moisturisers during this period to speed up the healing process.
Results
You can expect to have newer, smoother, fuller-feeling skin after just a few days following your treatment. The skin improvements are typically gradual whilst the collagen is replenished. Most patients only require one treatment to elicit a full effect, however, additional sessions can be offered to reach specific goals.
How Much Does eCO2 Laser Treatment Cost In Sydney?
The total cost of the procedure varies depending on your desired outcomes. Your Cosmetic Physician will carry out a complete physical assessment during your initial consultation and will then determine the best treatment course for you. A total breakdown of the cost will be given to you once your treatment has been designated.
