Low-Level Light Therapy using the Healite II technology is the therapeutic use of light-emitting diodes to deliver precise light beams of a specific wavelength with aims of relieving pain, improving wound healing times, subsiding active acne, and promoting skin rejuvenation without the physical trauma of thermal damage.
For Healite II treatment, Sydney and Miranda, Sutherland Shire residents can turn to the expertise of our knowledgeable team. We will guide you through your treatments and discuss with you in detail just how we can help.
Otherwise known as LED Phototherapy, Healite II LED light therapy is the most medically advanced Light Emitting Diode LED system on the market. It aims to promote skin rejuvenation by delivering concentrated light beams to the targeted areas.
Ideal candidates for Healite LED therapy
Healite II is suitable to treat a number of conditions for patients of all skin types. Healite is ideal for those who:
- Want to improve their skin tone
- Want to reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- Want to combat signs of aging
- Want to relieve pain caused by a number of conditions
What are the Healite LED light therapy benefits?
The healing properties of light are not to be excused. This treatment can be of significant benefit to all skin types.
As well as enhancing the results of cosmetic treatments, Healite II therapy can:
- Promote skin rejuvenation – As we age, our skin begins to sag, wrinkles begin to form, and we end up losing around 1% of our natural collagen storage. Healite LED light therapy can help improve collagen production which in turn enhances skin elasticity and gives us a younger look.
- Enhances natural recovery – Light can be used medically to promote healing. Healite II has been proven to facilitate our body’s healing time by relieving pain and improving blood flow.
- Non-invasive treatment – As opposed to surgical facial rejuvenation, Healite II is non-invasive, meaning that the procedure is often pain-free and has absolutely no downtime.
- Helps treat acne – Healite II treatment can help reduce the formation of acne scars and prevent further breakouts.
What can be treated with Healite II LED therapy?
Healite II can be used to treat a number of conditions thanks to its versatility. These include:
- Acne treatment
- Wound healing
- Improve blood flow
- Superficial skin lesions
How does Healite treatment work?
Healite is a non-ablative skin resurfacing treatment that uses LEDs to deliver precise wavelengths of pure light to treat a variety of skin conditions. There are multiple variations of light that can be used, such as:
- Yellow Light
- Red Light
- Blue light
These light beams stimulate the cells and heighten their function, causing better blood flow and faster healing. This treatment can be used immediately post-surgery as an adjunctive enhancement to help reduce downtime.
How is the procedure performed?
This procedure is performed in a well-equipped room at our practice. You will be seated on a bed and be given protective goggles to shield your eyes from the intense light beams. Once comfortable, a device will be placed above your head which will emit the necessary light beams to elicit a response.
The treatment day and what to expect
When you arrive at our clinic, you will be expected to remove all makeup in order to prepare your face for treatment. Then, you just simply lie down and relax whilst the treatment works its magic. Treatments should last no longer than 20 minutes.
What is recovery like after the treatment?
There is zero downtime following treatment. If used in combination with other treatments or as a post-surgery facilitator, then the recovery time varies depending on the downtime required by the adjunctive treatments.
What kind of results can I expect?
Your skin may seem red or flushed immediately after treatment, but this will diminish over the course of the day. Results are often seen after just one treatment. Results are gradual and occur as your collagen is slowly reproduced to allow for natural skin rejuvenation.
How much do Healite sessions cost in Sydney?
